You might acquaint yourself with the concept of "constructive criticism." For instance, you might tell someone how they can improve their pictures, rather than just saying "your pictures suck" to a picture that had the misfortune to have poor lighting. One might also attempt to improve one's own artwork before making blanket statements of "your pictures suck" to complete strangers. No one enjoys ignorance.
